Spring Anew

Mar 29, 2012

Our "family" and the people responsible for making this magical place what it is (not pictured my sweet encouraging husband Shane, Evelyn (my baby niece who spends a bit of her life here), & our newest employees Chelle & Penelope). Pictured left to right: Erin, Willa, Lexie, Sloane, Myself (Erika),Gus and Simon.

The past 3 months have been a whirl of activity at Walking Stick. We've become a bit more than just a toy store, we now like to refer to ourselves as a toy, clothing and craft store. The toys will always be a major focus and we have so many more. We've stuck to our environmentally friendly ways with all of our newest additions. Our clothing is almost all locally made/designed using natural fibers. Our crafting supply section has expanded by leaps and bounds and we're now offering an array of crafting classes (you'll notice them off to the right of this entry in our "Events" section.

We're excited about our expansion and the new goods we can offer the babies and children in Missoula and we're encouraged by the response we've already had from our loyal customers.

If you'd like to join us for some classes please call in advance to reserve your space - they have been popular and fill up rather quickly.

If you'd like to join us for a First Friday Event or be featured as our artist we have some openings down the road and we'd love for you to fill a spot.

Finally we'll leave you with one new item that seems to fly right out our door: Starry Knight Shoes at $24 per pair - made by a crafty Mama in Corvallis.

Special thanks to Evelyn for the cute foot and sharing her hedgehogs with us.

We hope you'll come and visit us very soon. Check back frequently as we have many new products to share.
