This beautiful work with incredible illustrations is written by Elsa Beskow. It is about a little fairy and her forest friends that discover a sun egg (a giant orange) that has fallen from the sky.
Beskow is the most well known of all Swedish children's book artists and her books are continually reprinted. Many of her books are classics.
