Happy Birthday Nature Boy!
Summer is just a few short weeks away, but we've already had quite a bit of summer-like weather. We have some new exciting things happening at Walking Stick Toys. The most exciting thing is the brand new mural painted on our back wall in the play area. It was painted by our good friend Sarah Copoc and it is gorgeous. If you are around you should swing by and check it out.
Nature Boy is also celebrating a special birthday! They are one year old this month! Happy Birthday and congratulations on your first year Julie, Bryan and Mani Mars, we're proud of you!
We have quite a few new toys since the last newsletter entry. We now carry Kathe Kruse dolls as well as some Selecta products. If you have a special Kathe Kruse doll that you've been looking for, be sure and place your Christmas orders very soon! We carry some of the little soft toys, but have to special order some of the higher end dolls that you might have in mind for "the perfect Christmas gift." Selecta has a wonderful selection of wooden toys. They made beautiful rattles, games and educational toys, so come in and see what we've decided to carry. We've also started carrying the Holztiger wooden figures. We don't have a huge selection in stock, but we have their catalog, so if there is a particular animal, dinosaur, person that you need to add to/complete your collection we can order with our next batch. They are beautifully made hand-crafted wooden figures. You can always look in our wooden toy selection to see them, or check under "Toys by Manufacturer" to see the entire Holztiger selection at Walking Stick Toys.
We've got some wonderful little wooden figures that would make fabulous birthday party favors…not to mention our special Starlight Silks wool felt birthday crowns – the perfect way to make your birthday extra special – wear the birthday crown for the day!
