Oh the Groundhog!
I just realized it has been quite some time since a newsletter update.
The new toy catalogs are rolling in and we're expanding our inventory.
There are some pretty fun new things in store for 2007.
We had an amazing Christmas, thank you to all of the loyal customers
that we've acquired over the last year. If you live in Missoula, we
hope you made it to our holiday open house. We had Santa and snacks and
sales and we intend to make it an annual celebration. With the
Christmas season in the rearview mirror we're looking forward to the
arrival of a brand new baby in the next month or so. Simon will soon
have a baby brother in tow. Baby August's due date is March 9th. There
might be a couple of new faces around the store as soon as the baby
arrives. My friend Nicole and her little guy Lewis will be working my
days for me. You'll still see the familiar faces of Julie, Bryan and
Mani Mars. I am planning to only take a few weeks of leave, so it won't
be long before you'll get to meet the new little man.
Now back to the toys. Watch for new Kathe Kruse, Haba, Holztiger,
Selecta (already available), Plan (won't be arriving until after June),
and many many more new and exciting things. The only thing we'll need
to try and figure out, is where to put everything as it begins to
arrive. Keep popping in to see the new treasures.
Maybe next February we'll be able to go to Toy Fair in New York, if not
2008 then maybe 2009. It always falls on Valentine's Day weekend, but
the big problem is that no children are allowed, not even infants, so a
nursing Mom might have a tough time.
Anyway, with spring around the corner, pop in on your walks downtown to
say hello and meet the new Walking Stick Toys baby very soon!
